My Journey

MSA Supported Living is the culmination of both my working career as well as a broader personal journey for me. With my background I was always going to remain within the healthcare sector but changes within my own life have shown me the importance of mental health.

For me, going through a marriage breakdown was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. It left me feeling lost, confused, and alone. But it was also a turning point for me. As I navigated my way through the challenges of divorce, I discovered a passion for helping others who were struggling with their own mental health issues.

That's what led me to start working in a mental health hospital. Every day, I had the privilege of helping people who were going through some of the toughest times of their lives. Whether it's providing a listening ear, offering words of encouragement or simply being there for someone who is feeling vulnerable. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.

I know first hand how difficult it can be to go through a tough time. But I also know that with the right support and guidance, it's possible to come out the other side stronger and more resilient than ever before. That's what I hope to offer to the people I work with - a sense of hope and possibility, even in the darkest of moments.

If my experiences have taught me anything, it's that we all have the power to overcome adversity and create a better life for ourselves. I am honoured to be able to use my own journey to help others find their own path to healing and recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions not listed feel free to contact us and we'll be happy to answer any questions

Supported living is a type of care that provides personalised support to individuals with disabilities or other needs.

Residential care is for people who require specialist care 24/7, whereas supported living is better suited for people who require tailored individual support to gain more independence.

Our personal care is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and we work alongside local and national authorities to ensure the highest quality care. Additionally our managers and staff hold regular quality and health and safety checks, as well as listening to feedback from the people we support.

We carry out our own recruitment and reference checking on all staff, looking at employment history going back 5 years. At MSA Supported Living we place a very high standard on our carers, employing only those who we feel embody the values of the company and have the right attitude for care.

Most of the key questions are already covered, but if you have any specific information that you'd like to know more about we are always happy to speak with you. Fill out the contact form below and we'll answer any question you have.
